Michal Strutin is an award-winning author whose debut historical fiction is Judging Noa: a Fight for Women's Rights in the Turmoil of the Exodus. She is working on a historical mystery trilogy set in the Late Renaissance. Her eight books on natural and cultural history include History Hikes of the Smokies, Florida State Parks: a Complete Recreation Guide, Discovering Natural Israel, and two volumes of Smithsonian Guides to Natural America. Her articles on travel and natural and cultural history have appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Tablet, Outside, Rolling Stone, and other newspapers and magazines.
In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys traveling, anything outdoors, and gardening, especially California native plants. |
