D.K. Kennedy |
D.K. Kennedy is a subversive, furious feminist who masquerades as a little old lady with blue hair. At twenty-two, in the mid-seventies, she packed up her three-year-old daughter and moved from Minneapolis to Cazenovia, NY to the Women Writers Center. For a year, she studied writing and literary criticism with second-wave feminists Rita Mae Brown, Kate Millet, Audre Lorde, and Marge Piercy. She has degrees in English and Communication, had a career in education, and in retirement writes novels and essays. When not writing, she trains and competes hunting dogs.
