Crystal Sheridan is a professional stripper, an alcoholic, a drug user, and homeless. Laura Taylor is a lesbian, professional writer, obsessive tidier, and control freak. Fate brings them together as improbably housemates. Can Laura and Crystal break through their carefully constructed walls against the past and learn to get along and start to embrace life again?
“Both BL Miller and Verda Foster have covered some extremely sensitive topics brilliantly. Child abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, prostitution, and infidelity are just some of them. But the book is written with such understanding that what could be a big turn off for a reader, actually makes a reader understand more about the subjects, without getting too heavy. I only wish BL Miller and Verda Foster would write more books.” — Terry’s Lesfic Reviews

BL Miller claims to be a hermit by nature, loving to stay at home and partake in her favorite pastimes of reading, writing, and painting garden gnomes. She was born in Massachusetts during a blizzard in 1967 and was raised in and around Albany, New York. She was a wild child, spent her teenage years giving her mother gray hair and self-destructing. Now she spends her time sitting in front of the computer happily writing away and socializing with her friends on Facebook. She loves writing and hopes to continue to do so for a very long time.
Verda Foster has worked in and around the art and craft industry for twenty years, and you can often find her judging at one of the many ceramic and craft shows held throughout Southern California. In her day job she repairs watches and her home time is spent writing and editing.
